Its August and we all know what it means right? Its the dental festive season! Every first week of August, Australia dental practices celebrate Dental Health Week. Its a week to promote oral health to Australians and educate them about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. Based on statistics from the Australian Dental Association, it seems like there are many Australians who have not been to the dentist for a while and also are not sure what is good oral health! Many are also not committed to brushing even twice a day or visiting the dentist!

So this August at Geelong Family Dental Care, we have joined up with the Australian Dental Association to help you commit to doing something good for not just your teeth but your whole mouth. Toothbrushes, floss among other cool dental toys will be in a dental goodie bag for those people who come into the clinic and commit themselves to doing something for their mouth... it can be as simple as flossing daily, brushing twice a day or going in for their routine checkups with their dentist.
