At Family Dental Care, we are committed to using the latest in everything dental to ensure your visit is the best it can be. Thanks to technological advances, dental procedures are only improving which allows us to provide you with a convenient and high standard of service.
Our dental practice utilises a variety of modern dentistry tools and techniques:
CEremic REConstruction is a one-of-a-kind system that allows dental practitioners to design and produce their own porcelain restorations, veneers, inlays, onlays and crowns. The system uses a variety of computer assisted technologies including CAD/CAM and 3D photography which dramatically speeds up the teeth restoration procedure for patients in one sitting, as opposed to requiring multiple sittings in the past when older techniques were used.
Low-dose Dental X-Rays –
Low dosage X-ray techniques are the newest improvement in dental diagnostic imaging. They not only produce 90% less radiation than traditional film X-rays, but allow for electronic X-rays to be taken almost instantly; often of the entire mouth. This eliminates the need to take multiple X-rays and having to wait for an X-ray to develop. Problems can also be identified immediately on the spot.
On-site Acrylic Lab –
Our commercial acrylic laboratory allows our dental technicians to produce a variety of prosthetics in house including mouth guards, bleach trays and metal and acrylic dentures. This dramatically cuts down the time patients need to sit in the dental chair.
Laser Dentistry –
This is one of the most precise and effective ways to perform numerous dental procedures. Dental practitioners have more control in terms of power output and the duration of tissue exposure which eliminates damaging surrounding tissues (gum and tooth structures).
